Pour the bait into open containers that have been loosely filled with cotton balls or padding. Place the bait traps near anthills or in areas that ants frequent. A stronger solution will kill ants quickly, while a weaker solution will allow ants to bring the bait back to the nest where it will kill any ants that eat it.Note: be sure to place boric acid traps where they will not be exposed to children or pets.
